Mrs Lowell won her jackpot in the Club 3000 National Bingo Game at her local bingo hall in Lanarkshire Scotland, winning the top prize of £1.16 million.
In a nice touch, she shared half her winnings with her friend and bingo partner Agnes O'Neill, as over the years they had shared other wins with each other.
She bought an Ice Cream van with her share of the winnings, but unfortunately Mrs Lowell and her husband were served with bankruptcy papers in 2012 after failing to pay council tax.
6. Poker Tournament biggest winners
