A big Mega Moolah jackpot win: 4.4 million won 30 September 2019!

Just when you thought that we would only have the one CA$4.7 million winner of the Mega Moolah jackpot to talk about in September 2019, we now have confirmation that the jackpot was indeed won once again just before the end of the month, indeed just a couple of hours before we finally saw the hand on the clock tick into October!

That's because at 10pm in the evening UTC, one lucky player playing the Mega Moolah slot landed a jackpot worth 4,443,185.39. What a way to kick off October for that lucky individual!

Based on our calculations and what the Mega jackpot fund reverted back to following the win, we reckon that this latest winner is yet another lucky Canadian Dollar winner! If confirmed (and I am sure that is just a matter of time), this would be the third Canadian Dollar winner in a row and the sixth time in the nine jackpot triggers in 2019, that the lucky winner has landed their prize playing in this currency. Lucky Mega Moolah Player is 9^th Jackpot Winner in 2019!

As always in the days after a big win is confirmed, the casinos go into overdrive to check the validity of the win and the lucky player is contacted to discuss issues such as whether they would like to go public with the win. Many of course remain anonymous through preference, so details on the winner may not be particularly easy to find. However, if they do decide to go public, we will bring you all the details on that win in a later article.

What we do know is that this latest winner is the ninth such player to have claimed a jackpot prize in 2019 and that it is the sixth time this year that a player has landed the prize in Canadian Dollars. The only other jackpot triggers this year have been one win in US Dollars back in March for US$12,945,668/34 and two British Pound winners which came back to back in May and June for £5,543,986.99 and then £3,033,563.60 respectively.

So Canadian Dollar players certainly seem to have had the lion's share of the luck in 2019, but that is not all we know. This was the second time that the jackpot was triggered in September 2019, following on from another Canadian Dollar winner on the 5^th September. It was the fifth time that the jackpot had been won in September and the first time it had been won so late in the month.
