Fifth Mega Moolah Jackpot Winner of 2020 confirmed at over 14 million euros!

Well now there is another win to add to that list as on the 17th of August 2020 one lucky player landed a jackpot prize of over €14.6 million.

In purely numerical terms, this is the fourth largest prize ever awarded on the Mega Moolah network and given that the jackpot reset back to around 1.8 million in the prize pool, it looks likely that the winner won their prize using the Euro as their base currency. If that is the case, then this win could well be up there with one of the top three biggest comparative cash. value wins in the slot's history.

Given the fact that when Canadian Dollar, US Dollar and New Zealand Dollar wins generally amount to much less than wins in Euros (or the base currency of British Pound, which sees the Jackpot pot won in its entirety), other than the 18.9 million Euro in and Jon Heywood's £13.2 million win in October 2015, this latest trigger may be the third largest cash amount won as a Mega Moolah jackpot in history.

However, it can be tricky to corroborate this exactly due to the fluctuations in exchange rate over time which can alter how much a win in one of the non-base currencies is actually worth in British Pounds.

As is always the case just after a big money win, at the moment the lucky winner will have been contacted by their casino and will now be going through the process to verify their win. So, as you can see, the Euro winners of the Mega Moolah jackpot have tended to win a little more money than Canadian Dollar winners, but not quite as much as British Pound winners on average. However, all three currencies average win are just under a million or so more than the next biggest average winners, New Zealand Dollar players.

Summer Mega Moolah jackpot winners!

If you are based in the northern hemisphere, then the months of July to September are the traditional summer months of the year but while we tend to enjoy sunnier, warmer days then, we also have not had as many Mega Moolah winners to shout about.

Indeed, this latest winner is the 11^th jackpot winner to be landed during the period from July 1^st to September 30th. That is the fewest amount in a three-month period (tied with January 1^st to March 31^st). We also know that this last winner triggered their jackpot prize at around 23.30 UTC, which means that they become the fifth winner to land their prize in the hour leading up to midnight. As unusual as it may seem, that time is the second most popular time to win a Mega Moolah jackpot, just eclipsed by the eight winners that have claimed their prize between 20:00 and 21:00.

At the other end of that scale, we have never seen a Mega Moolah winner land their prize between 10.00 and 11.00 in the morning, while a number if times (including midnight to 01.00 and 03.00 to 04.00) have seen just one winner.
