First Mega Moolah jackpot win of 2020 is claimed in Canadian dollars

It has been some time in the offing, but we finally have our first Mega Moolah jackpot winner of 2020! Assuming that everything with this win checks out and although details at this stage of the process are incredibly sketchy, it appears that the jackpot prize had climbed close to 16 million on the 5^th April 2020, before one lucky Canadian player landed the prize.

At the present moment, we don't have any detail about the win other than it was possibly the third largest Mega Moolah jackpot prize (in numerical terms, if not actual cash value) in the game's history as is shown in the list below:

Given that the jackpot reset back to just over £7 million, we have worked out that it is most likely that this latest winner was another player that landed a top jackpot prize playing in Canadian Dollars, although as with everything to do with this win, this has not yet been officially confirmed at this time.

A win of CA$16 Million would equate to around £9 million sterling, which fits the profile of this winner perfectly. It would also likely be the fourth largest win on the Mega Moolah slot, in comparative cash terms (if each win was converted into British pounds), in the game's history with only Jon Heywood's record-busting £13.2 million win, plus the Euro winner of €18.9 million and the Canadian Dollar winner of CA$20 million surpassing this latest prize.

It is also the first winner of the jackpot prize since December 2019. The four months that have passed since represent the longest period of time without a win since a similar four-month gap between the two biggest ever jackpot wins on the game, the €18.9 million win in September 2018 and the CA$20.05 million win in January 2019.

Prior to this latest gap, the Mega Moolah jackpot had been triggered five times in the four months from September 2019 to December 2019, twice during September and once each in the other three months of the year, although all were relatively small wins.

If this latest winner of the jackpot prize is confirmed to be a Canadian Dollar winner, then it would be yet another top prize winner for, most likely, a player based in Canada (or at the very least, playing the game using the currency).
