Mega Vault Millionaire Payline and Winning Symbol combos explained (video)
We take a look at the Mega Moolah powered Mega Vault Millionaire slot's pay lines and the different winning symbol combinations you can land so you understand how it works and how to land those bigger value wins.
Once again, we do have a short accompanying video for this article that shows you exactly what we are talking about in the information section on the Mega Vault Millionaire slot.
Seeing as we are looking at two separate things in this game, we will start by looking at the pay lines and explain a little more about them.
Mega Vault Millionaire Pay Lines
Mega Vault Millionaire, along with the original Mega Moola slot, is a 25 pay line game in the Mega Moolah progressive network. This is 15 more pay lines than are available on the Atlantean Treasures slot (although with that slot, you can win both ways across the reels) and 5 more than you get on the newest of the slot games, Absolootly Mad.
In a nice touch, the 25 pay lines on the Mega Vault Millionaire slot are exactly the same pay lines as you get on the original Mega Moolah game. This again gives you the impression that Mega Vault Millionaire is a new incarnation of the original game, which is no bad thing.
Each of the pay lines is based on a pattern of symbols and they start off with the three most obvious patterns, the five lines across the reels from left to right as standard and the remaining 22 pay lines are a mix of different patterns.
This is different to a Ways to Win slot which simply has to land the same symbol in any position consecutively across the reels. However, what you tend to find with Ways to Win slots is that their win value per line tends to be smaller (because there are more ways to win) than on Pay Line slots.
You can see the different patterns of pay lines in the screenshot below.

Of course, you don't actually need to know each pay line, the game will automatically recognise every time that you have a winning combination of symbols across the reels. Furthermore, while each pay line shows five symbols highlighted you can land payouts for just three or four symbols too on these lines (but only on the first three or four positions in succession). For some symbols, you can also win for having two symbols in position from left to right too.
However, understanding what the pay lines are does make the actual playing of Mega Vault Millionaire more exciting as you can recognise when symbols are in paying positions and as the reels resolve themselves in standard play mode, it does make playing the game a little more exciting.
Essentially, that is all you need to know about pay lines, but what you now need to know is the symbols that will land upon them in Mega Vault Millionaire.
Mega Vault Millionaire Symbols
There are a total of 12 different symbols on the reels in Mega Vault Millionaire, 10 Standard Symbols, a Wild and a Scatter symbol. This once again matches the same symbol numbers and type of the original Mega Moolah slot.
There are five lower value symbols, which are the playing card symbols from the 10 through to the Ace. Then following on from these symbols, there are five higher value symbols, the cash bundles, the expensive watch, the priceless painting, the gold bars and the sapphire necklace.
Then there are the two feature symbols which are the Treasure Box Wild symbol and lastly, the Faberge Egg Scatter symbol. All 12 symbols in the game can be found on all reels, as is exactly the case on Mega Moolah.
The table below will give you an idea of what each symbol pays for 2, 3, 4 and 5 symbol wins for both the minimum bet amount in the game (0.25) and the maximum bet amount you can play for (6.25).
Wins that guarantee you either a return of your stake or a profit if landed singly are shown in bold. Remember, you can win across multiple pay lines and using multiple symbols on the same spin, which can increase the overall value of a win quite considerably.

Essentially, what you have here is a mirror image of the original Mega Moolah set up, only with updated graphics and sound and in an exclusive game for Casino Rewards. If you compare play-throughs of both the original Mega Moolah and Mega Vault Millionaire, you will also find that the slots also play very similarly too.
However, there are some key differences. The main one being the Jackpot Bonus Game on each game. On Mega Moolah, it is a single wheel which will award you one of the four Jackpot Prizes. On Mega Vault Millionaire, it is a series of three wheels which you spin. On the first you can win the Mini jackpot prize or move onto the second wheel. On the second you can win the Minor jackpot prize or move onto the third wheel and on the third wheel you are guaranteed to win either the Major or Mega jackpot prize.

Mega Vault Millionaire Feature Symbols
There are two feature symbols in the game and the first is the Treasure Box Wild. This can be landed across all five reels and awards by far the highest win in the base game (3,750.00 if you are playing for the maximum spin amount).
The wild substitutes for all symbols apart from the Scatter symbol and it is a massively important symbol in the base game and Free Spins as often when you land a bigger value win, the Wild is part of it usually once or twice (or sometimes more) across a winning line.
The Scatter symbol is the blue and gold Faberge Egg and this offers a nice mix of payouts in both the base game and Free Spins for landing two symbols on the reels (double your bet returned to you) however when you land three or more you will trigger 15 Free Spins (from the base game), or you will re-trigger an extra 15 Free Spins from the bonus round itself. You can find out more about Free Spins bonus rounds and re-triggering Free Spins in our dedicated article about them.
Essentially, that is everything you need to know about the different pay lines and symbols used in the Mega Vault Millionaire slot. The only other thing you should remember is that you can only trigger the Jackpot Bonus Wheel at random in the base game mode on a standard spin. If you trigger Free Spins, then the Jackpot Bonus Wheel cannot be triggered while you play through the bonus. However you can trigger the Jackpot Bonus Wheel on the same spin that you trigger Free Spins, in which case you will play the Jackpot Bonus Wheel first before your Free Spins bonus.
So armed with this knowledge, why not try a few spins on the Mega Vault Millionaire slot and see if the symbols and pay lines align to land you a win or two.
