The theme of the slot is a bank vault theme, based on where the rich and wealthy of the population would store their priceless items and artifacts to protect them. The setting of the slot is a large bank vault, protected by laser beams, and on the reels are a number of items that you would expect to be stored in such a vault, such as gold bars, a priceless painting and expensive watches to name but a few.

  • What are the main bonus features on the Mega Vault Millionaire slot?

The first bonus feature in the game is the Wild symbol, which is a jewellery box and which can be used as both a substitute symbol in the game and as a symbol with which you can win when landed across the reels on a pay line.

Land five of the Jewellery Box Wilds and you can win up to 600x your stake. When used as a substitute symbol, the Jewellery Box Wild will also award a 2x multiplier on any win that it is a part of. Wild wins are very common in the base game and they do contribute a lot towards players landing wins in the base game.

There is also a Free Spins bonus round which you can land by hitting three or more of the Faberge Egg Scatter symbols anywhere across the reels. In addition to a cash prize, you will receive 15 Free Spins to play through in this bonus.

During your Free Spins, you receive a 3x multiplier bonus on all wins and you can also re-trigger the bonus game by landing three or more Scatters once again. Pleasingly, the bonus feature is not as difficult to hit as on some other slot games and this does make the Mega Vault Millionaire slot feel a little more accessible and player-friendly.

  • How do you win the progressive jackpot on the Mega Vault Millionaire slot?

It is worth remembering that there is not just one progressive jackpot prize on the Mega Vault Millionaire slot. Like all Mega Moolah games, there are four progressives you can win, the Mini, Minor, Major and Mega. They increase in size up from tens of pounds/dollars/euros, up to over a million guaranteed if you can land the Mega jackpot prize.

In the original Mega Moolah and its three other games, Isis, 5-Reel Drive and Summertime, the jackpot is won by a single spin of a Bonus Wheel. In the Mega Vault Millionaire slot, there is a new way that the jackpot is awarded and this is linked in with the bank vault theme of the slot.

In Mega Vault Millionaire, once you trigger the bonus game, you spin the first bonus wheel. Here you will either win the Mini jackpot prize, or progress onto the next bonus wheel. If you progress, you spin a second wheel which can see you win the Minor prize or progress onto the third and final bonus wheel.

The third bonus wheel is the key one and the good news if you reach this is that you are guaranteed a sizeable win as you will at least win the Major jackpot prize (as many players have already done). However, hit the single space on the wheel for the Mega jackpot prize and you will win the massive Mega Moolah progressive jackpot prize, which at the time of writing, is 2.5 million and increasing and often climbs to much more than that.

  • What are my chances of winning the Mega jackpot on Mega Vault Millionaire compared to the other Mega Moolah-linked games?

Your chances of winning the progressive jackpot prize on any of the Mega Moolah progressive-linked slots are exactly the same regardless of which slot you play. You stand as much chance of winning the top jackpot prize playing Mega Vault Millionaire as you do any other Mega Moolah slot.

  • How much is it to play Mega Vault Millionaire per spin?

You can wager from 0.25 up to 6.25 per spin on the game. There are 25 pay lines in the game, and this number is a fixed amount.

The more you wager, then your chances of triggering the jackpot bonus game increase in proportion to the size of your bet. So, if you play 0.50 per spin for example, you have twice as many chances of triggering the bonus round as you would if you played for 0.25 per spin.

This is the same process that is applied on all other Mega Moolah games linked to the progressive jackpots.

  • How is the Mega progressive jackpot paid out?

When Microgaming devised the original Mega Moolah, and all the games subsequently linked to the jackpot, they made an express commitment to offering straightforward payment to players that are fortunate enough to win the big prize.

What this means is that if you win the Mega Jackpot, then no matter how big the prize is, you will receive the entire sum, in the currency you played the game, in a single transaction. There is no percentage kept back by the casino, no waiting to receive the full amount over X number of years, you receive all the cash you won in a single payment.

The only thing you need to pass once you have triggered a jackpot prize, is the casino's security check to ensure that your win was indeed a genuine one. Once this has been conducted and passed, you can then look forward to receiving your cash and deciding whether or not you want to go public with your win.
