Microgaming announce deals with Boss Gaming and slots producer Wazdan

Microgaming, producers of the famous Mega Moolah slot among others, have enjoyed a busy week or so as they have continued to increase their reach across further territories, as well as expanding the number of companies that they have signed supply deals with for the production of brand new slot games.

These announcements all follow on from the news that they had already agreed a deal to bring Microgaming games to the Czech Republic through Tipsport, although the plan is to expand further into the burgeoning Czech market through similar deals with other suppliers.

The move into the Czech Republic came on the back of similar moves into Colombia, Bulgaria and Denmark in 2018 and also into the newly regulated Swedish market at the start of 2019.

Those moves ensured that more people than ever around the world can now access Microgaming's extensive collection of games and it seems that the company's quest to achieve a genuinely global presence has not ended there.

Microgaming join forces with Boss Gaming Solutions

Earlier on this week, Microgaming announced in a press release that the company had agreed terms on a new partnership with Boss Gaming Solutions, which is set to come into force from next week.

The deal means that Microgaming's vast range of content, comprising of over 850 different casino games and slots, will now become available on Boss Gaming Solutions' popular iGaming platform.

Following news of the deal, James Buchanan the Global Operations Director at Microgaming released a statement which said:

"We are delighted that Microgaming content will be made available to Boss Gaming Solutions customers. This collaboration signals our continued commitment to providing operators with the most popular and playable games from our award-winning portfolio."

In response, the Chief Operating Officer for Boss Gaming Solutions, Catalina Lukianenko explained how her company can help iGaming operators obtain gambling licenses and pointed out some of the company's major technical innovations as well as stating:

"This [the deal with Microgaming] is a huge step for our company to partner with Microgaming. We are pleased to offer out clients high-quality content from one of the most trusted brands in the gaming world."

The iGaming network boasts a number of casinos, poker sites and similar from a range of countries across the world and this new deal means that Microgaming will be able to get its products and its most popular titles, such as the famous Mega Moolah progressive, into more casinos all over the world. Adding further exposure to the brand and also potentially driving up the number of players that play their games.

Microgaming strike another supply deal with Wazdan

Further to the news that Microgaming have signed deals with a number of other software development companies over the past year or so, all who will now produce exclusive content for Microgaming as part of the arrangement, the Isle of Man company also announced today that they have signed a similar deal with the team at Wazdan.

Wazdan are famous for creating slot games that have been ported onto desktop, tablet and mobile devices. The company has been in existence for a decade and over that time has earned glowing reviews from players and from operators offering Wazdan products to their customers.

Some of the most popular games from Wazdan released in that time include 9 Lions, Great Book of Magic Deluxe, Los Muertos, Valhalla and Magic Stars 3. A highlight of these games has been some of the specialist features that Wazdan have incorporated into each game, some of which are rarely found on other slots.

The new deal is similar to the deals that Microgaming have agreed with other slots development companies. Wazdan will agree to produce a number of games for Microgaming over the duration of the agreement, which will then be made available exclusively to Microgaming's burgeoning customer base.

Speaking about the partnership, the head of sales at Wazdan, Andrzej Hyla stated:

"This deal with Microgaming is a significant win for us here at Wazdan, and we are excited about the potential growth and exposure for our business. We are pleased that Microgaming has acknowledged the quality and player demand for our tech-rich games. It is an honour to be working with one of the largest, most respected suppliers in the industry."

In response, James Buchanan, the director of global operations at Microgaming said:

"We are delighted to add Wazdan to the growing list of skilled developers supplying content to our customers. Wazdan were chosen for their proven ability to create innovative slots that engage and entertain players, and they fit in perfectly with our strategy of bringing diverse and trusted content to the market."

There is no news as yet as to what the first title from Wazdan for Microgaming will be, although in recent times, any announcement such as this has often been followed a short time later by the first title from the new supplier going live in Microgaming cinemas, as the release of the Arctic Valor slot, produced by Crazy Tooth Studio, earlier this month shows.

As such, it may well pay to keep a close eye on Microgaming's news feed for any details of the first Wazdan game.

Exciting Times Ahead?

These announcements are good news for players across the globe. Firstly, by expanding into new markets by striking deals with companies that are already established in certain locales, this means that Microgaming's portfolio of games now becomes available to a much wider audience and given the rapid expansion into several countries across the world over the past twelve months, it seems likely that this is a direction Microgaming will continue to use to broaden its customer base.

Secondly, by adding companies such as Wazdan and Crazy Tooth Studio to its group of providers that are creating new content for the company, Microgaming are not only creating more exclusive games than before, but these games are also going to be more diverse and offer a wider range of slots experiences for their customers. This is clearly shown on the new Arctic Valor slot and the forthcoming Village People Macho Moves slot (by Fortune Factory Studios) both of which have a somewhat unusual 6-reels in play.

This ensures that it could be an exciting 12 months ahead for Microgaming with more people than ever getting to experience their increasingly diverse range of slot games and other products.
