All Win FC slot: Does it hit the back of the net?
It is going to be something of a month for football-themed slots, no doubt planned with the European Championships in mind. Football Star Deluxe is due for release at the end of this month but before that we have another release from the very busy All41 Studios, as part of their agreement with Microsoft and this new games is All Win FC.
This higher variance slot offers a wide range of different features, including a potentially very lucrative Free Spins bonus round and Expanding Wilds on the middle three reels in both the base game and during Free Spins.
So does this 5x3 reel slot prove to be the winner, or does it score something of an own goal?
Here is what we found out about the All Win FC slot.

Presentation
The presentation on the All Win FC slot is somewhat similar to football slot games. The action takes place in a football stadium, packed to the brim with fans. The controls are on the right-hand side of the reels and the reels are semi-transparent. Quick spin and Autoplay options are available too if you wish to use them.
The sound is a generic football crowd initially but when the reels start to spin you then get a musical soundtrack which plays over the top which sounds suitably sporty and aspirational. There are little additional touches you get in the game, such as the crowd cheering, when you land a bonus or good sized win, which also give the game a little lift in terms of how it looks and plays.
What is on the reels?
There are a mix of symbols on the reels and rather disappointingly, the playing card symbols are back to serve as the lower paying symbols on the reels. Given how many football related items that All41 Studios could have used for lower value symbols, it is a little lazy to just use the playing card symbols once again.
Wins on the lower value symbols range from 0.5x your bet up to 10x your bet and you need to hit at least four across the reels on a single pay line in order to record a profit on that spin.
There are six higher value symbols on the reels in this slot and they offer better value wins. They are the jesters hat and vuvuzela, the flag, the football shirt and scarf, the fan sucking a drink through a straw, the female fan blowing a kiss and the bearded fan celebrating.
Wins on these symbols range from 2x your bet up to 50x your bet. The symbols have been nicely done, but I would have liked to have seen some ability to personalise the game to your choice of teams colours, as is available on some other football slots.
Wild features
The football trophy is the Wild symbol in the game and this can appear on any of the middle three reels of the slot. When it lands, it will also expand to cover the reel that it has appeared on in full. Not every land of the Wild will land a win however (but even when that is the case, the Wild will expand anyway).
Free Spins features
The football is the Scatter symbol in the game, and this can appear anywhere on the five reels. If you land three or more of these symbols then you will first win a cash prize, which ranges from 2x your bet for a 3 Scatter trigger to 50x your bet for a five.
Three or more Scatters landed will also see you land a dozen free spins and this bonus round is slightly different to your standard Free Spins bonus. First of all, each time you land a Wild during Free Spins, whether it is a winner or not, you will receive one more additional Free Spin. In addition, you trigger the Symbol Upgrade feature.
Above the reels you will see the symbols ranked in order and as you land Wilds and access the Symbol Upgrade feature, it will upgrade the current lowest symbol in the line up to the next highest one. In addition, it will also change those symbols on the reels to the newly upgraded symbol. This means more of the same symbols on the reels and as such, more chance of triggering a win.
Furthermore, if you trigger 2 or 3 Wilds on a single spin, you will earn three and five additional Free Spins respectively.
Best feature of the All Win FC slot
There is no doubt that the Free Spins bonus round is the standout feature on the All Win FC Slot. It is the feature that will pay you out the most and where it is easiest to land those bigger wins that you will need to cover the cost of your base game spins. The addition of extra Free Spins by landing a Wild is a nice touch, as is the ability to replace symbols with the next highest symbol on the reel, a bonus feature which can prove extremely lucrative if you can trigger it enough times during the bonus round.
Conclusion
As higher variance slots go, All Win FC is not a bad effort at all. It is probably not a World Cup winning effort as I feel the base game is a little bit too repetitive and it does drag on when you are trying to trigger the Free Spins bonus round in the main. However, the Wild produces some important base game wins and the Free Spins bonus round is superb and can lead to some massive wins. I see this is a slot which is more suited to higher roller players as there is a lot more to be won when you are placing bets towards the higher end of the betting range.
