Casino Rewards winners: October 2019

It's been a time for firsts at Casino Rewards. Last month we saw two people claim big jackpot prizes on the Mega Moolah slot, while this month we have seen the first winners from the brand new Mega Moolah-powered progressive Mega Vault Millionaire slot.

This new games certainly seems to have had an impact on our monthly data as we have recorded the greatest ever number of jackpot triggers across the month with 42 reported wins for Casino Rewards network players.

Let's take a look at how the data for October pans out, starting with the main headlines for the month.

October 2019 Casino Rewards progressive pay-outs

The big winner this month came with another trigger of the Mega Moolah jackpot prize for a Casino Rewards player. The jackpot was on the 16^th October on the Mega Moolah slot game at Grand Mondial Casino Mobile for a prize of €3,558,858.68. This is the third time in the space of two months that the Mega Moolah top jackpot prize has been won at a Casino Rewards casino.

October saw the largest number of winners of top jackpot prizes since we started keeping records, with 42 prizes claimed throughout the month.

Those wins came spread throughout the month as the most number of jackpots won on a single day was three (which occurred on the 7^th, 8^th, 11^th, 15^th, 21^st and 25^th of the month).

We saw two jackpot winners land their prizes on a number of days too, the 5^th, 6^th, 13^th, 16^th, 17^th, 18^th, 27^th and 29^th of October all seeing two winners each day.

Single winners of jackpots were landed on the 2^nd, 10^th, 14^th, 20^th, 23^rd, 26^th, 28^th and 30^th of October.

The unlucky days in the month which saw no jackpots landed were the 1^st, 3^rd, 4^th, 9^th, 12^th, 19^th, 22^nd, 24^th and perhaps not surprisingly the 31^st The Halloween Hoodoo must have struck!

October was the first month that we had data for the new Mega Vault Millionaire slot and while the new game didn't land its first big jackpot winner, it did land an incredible 10 Major Jackpot prizes. Added to the 10 Major jackpot triggers on the original Mega Moolah slot, this means that in addition to the big Mega Jackpot win, Mega Moolah also paid out 20 Major Jackpot prizes across both games this month.

The smallest jackpot win this month was a prize of €6,125.73 on the Cash Splash slot at Grand Mondial Casino Mobile on the 29^th

A total of six games produced jackpot winners in October 2019, including the first winners for Mega Vault Millionaire, as well as rare wins on the 3-reel Wow Pot slot and the 3-reel Tunzamunni slot. This is two up from September 2019.

The total number of winners this month of 42 was the largest since we started keeping records for Casino Rewards jackpot winners, surpassing the previous record of 39, which had been achieved in three months.

Which Casinos and Games generated the big winners in October 2019?

Zodiac Casino has been the top casino in terms of the number of winners in both August and September, although last month it shared the greatest number of winners with Grand Mondial Casino. We also had nine different casinos pay out players in total last month including Cosmo Casino, Yukon Gold Casino, Casino Classic, Captain Cook's Casino, Luxury Casino, Quatro Casino, Golden Tiger Casino, and Blackjack Ballroom and Casino Action. So are Zodiac Casino and Grand Mondial Casino the two casinos to top the chart once again for October? Let's take a closer look and find out:

Not only did Grand Mondial Casino produce the most winners across the month of October, but it also produced the biggest Mega Moolah winner, with one jackpot win of over €3.5 million being claimed at the casino on October 16^th. Zodiac Casino was pushed off the top spot and dropped to third in the chart with just four winners, but there was a significant increase in the number of casinos paying out jackpot prizes this month with 11 doing so, up from eight last month.

Let's now see which games produced the big winners in October 2019 and this month there seems to have been a greater number of games that have paid out cash prizes, including of course the brand new Mega Moolah-powered progressive jackpot game Mega Vault Millionaire.

It is abundantly clear that the influence Mega Vault Millionaire has had since its release with already 10 big money winners on the game in its first month of release, drawing it level this month with the number of winners on Cash Splash and just one behind the Mega Moolah slot. Treasure Nile slot had a good month too with seven winners, while we had rare wins on the Wow Pot and Tunzamunni 3 Reel slots too, meaning we saw six different games pay out big winners throughout October, the largest number of games to pay out winners we have had since we started looking back through the months at winners.

Canadian players certainly perform very well when playing at the Casino Rewards Network as they topped the chart for the most number of wins once again in October, just as they did in September and August. However, they didn't manage to nab the big money prize, as that was won in Euros in October. A result, which means the table looks different when you look at the total amount won in each currency for October.

October was a good month for Canadian players who again racked up the most number of wins, but in terms of the amount of money won, that big Mega Moolah jackpot win on October 16^th in Euro meant that the Eurozone currency was the clear winner in terms of the total wins paid out in that currency throughout October. Of course, that also makes a difference when we see what the average win in each currency was worth for October.

It's clear to see that although US Dollar players won fewer jackpots, the amount their jackpots were worth on average was slightly higher than the value that all the Canadian players won. However, it is hard to contrast these figures across four currencies, so for a better idea of how they compare, let's convert them at today's exchange rates into a single currency for easier comparison.

As you can see, when converted into a single currency the value of those 22 Canadian Dollar wins on average does drop it down to fourth in the list, a big change from last month when the two Mega Moolah jackpot wins saw it top of this list comfortably. The Euro was the currency to be using in October, with wins of over ten times the average pound value of the next best currency, which was the US Dollar, with the British Pound in third spot, even with just a single win.

What were the biggest Casino Rewards Network wins in October 2019?

Having landed the record number of winners in a single month with 42, beating the record of 39 held April, May and August, one notable thing is that there is a massive difference between the largest winner of the month in October and the next biggest win, with the massive 3.5 million Mega Moolah win being almost 39 times larger than the next biggest win of over €91,000.

When it comes to big winners, and by that we say people that won at least 25,000 in their chosen currency or greater, we had 15 winners that met these criteria in September. In October, we had 14 winners break this threshold, with a couple of winners, sitting just under that amount but still earning wins of over 20,000 in their chosen currency.

Mobile vs Desktop winners in October 2019

We saw the number of winners increase from September from 35 up to the highest number of winners in a month so far with 42, (pipping the current record of 39). While we didn't have two huge winners as we did in September when the Mega Moolah jackpot was triggered twice, we have seen one winner of over 3.5 million during October, as well as our first glut of big money winners on the brand new Mega Vault Millionaire slot (we will be compiling a separate article on these winners shortly, so keep your eyes peeled for that!).

Once again, we have seen more mobile winners in October as we have in every month of the year so far, but there has been a notable increase in the number of non-mobile winners landing prizes across the last two months as the data shows.

Could we be seeing a little resurgence in the number of people playing their Casino Rewards network progressive jackpot games from desktop devices? Over the last two months, we have seen a total of 30 winners earning their prizes on non-mobile devices, an average of 15 per month, while in the months prior to that we have had considerably fewer wins on desktop.

Back in August just 17.9% of winners landed their prize on a desktop device, but in September that shot up to 40% and this month we saw 38% of winners claiming their prize on a desktop. Still in the minority, but a far greater proportion of wins came this way over September and October. It is therefore going to be interesting to see whether this trend continues into November and December.

We may have had just the one big jackpot winner in October 2019, but it was certainly still a bumper month for winnings with four more winners than in September and the joint most winners in a month since we started keeping records. As we head through November and towards Christmas, it is going to be interesting to see whether this has an effect on the number of jackpots won, and the size of prizes available over the next couple of months in particular.
