The Jessica Weaver Queen of the Seas slot is designed to put the eponymous Jessica at the very forefront of the slot game, which is not difficult given that is her ample frontage that is most keenly displayed in most of her pictures.

She is portrayed in a rather scanty pirate outfit which would no doubt draw a fair few admiring glances if that was your thing. In truth, she's more just of a distraction from the main slot game which occurs to her right. The reels are nicely animated, and a rather jaunty pirates jig plays as the game is played.

The actual game itself, once you get away from Jessica's pouting and posing, is actually rather decent and looks and plays nicely. It is a pretty thin theme for a slot and a rather lame excuse to have the erstwhile Miss Weaver draped over various parts of the slot in various sultry poses. Still, if that is what floats your boat when you are playing slots you will love it.

What is on the reels?

There are a total of ten standard symbols on the reels, plus a couple of bonus symbols which lead to the main features of the slot. Pleasingly, the team at MGA have done away with the standard playing card low and all symbols are on a pirate theme and lower value symbols include a turtle, a parrot, a bottle of rum, the Jolly Roger flag, a pair of guns and a pair of cutlasses. Wins range from 0.2x your bet up to 8x your bet with these symbols.

There are four higher value symbols too and these are the two treasure chests, one filled with silver coins the other with gold coins (although both, somewhat mystifyingly pay out the same amount), and the highest values are the diamond club symbol and the diamond heart symbol, the latter of which offers the largest base game payout of 200x your bet if landed five times across the reels.

In addition to these there are two other symbols, the Wild and Bonus symbols which are linked to the main features of the slot.

Wild features

The Wild symbol is Jessica Weaver herself and she can appear anywhere on the middle three reels. She serves as a standard Wild symbol most often, substituting for the standard symbols in the game to help create wins.

However, if you can land all three Jessica Weaver Wilds on the middle three reels then you will trigger the 15 Free Spins bonus game.

Free Spins features

Once you have landed the Free Spins bonus using the Jessica Weaver Wilds as outlined above, then you enter the Free Spins game. Best feature of the Jessica Weaver Queen of the Seas slot

So what is the best feature of the Jessica Weaver Queen of the Seas slot? No doubt many will like the fact that Instagram star Miss Weaver has her own slot and is draped seductively all over many parts of it. However, as a slots purist, I found the mini-games to be the most entertaining part of the game, perhaps more so than the Free Spins bonus as they were just a little different and actually linked in very nicely with the theme of the slot. That said, the Free Spins bonus is also potentially lucrative, especially with the 3x multiplier in play for those spins.

Conclusion

The game itself is very good and would have worked well without Jessica Weaver on board, but I suppose her appeal to many is what can attract others to play the game. Regardless of that, this is a pretty decent slot.
