Mega Vault Millionaire slot: Introduction to Game Play (video)
You may think that the Mega Vault Millionaire slot is solely about the game and the Mega Moolah progressive jackpot prize to which it is linked and while for the vast majority of the time when you are using the slot, that may be what you are focused on, there are actually quite a lot of different features and aspects to the slot that can be accessed using various icons on the screen.
In this next article and video in our series on the Mega Vault Millionaire slot we are going to take a closer look at these nuts and bolts of the game. Essentially, the different features that all knit the game together and allow you to enjoy the spins on it simply and effectively.
It is tempting to think that items like what we will talk about in this article, and see in the video, are not important for slot players, but actually that is far from the truth. A poorly designed game, where players cannot access the information they need, or their account to deposit cash to play, or details on the features and pay lines of the slot, can be a nightmare for players to play.
So, with that in mind, let's take a look at some of the lesser known and certainly lesser highlighted features available on the Mega Vault Millionaire slot.

Spin and Bet Options
The different Spin and Bet options are located around the main spin button at the bottom of the reels and there are essentially five different features you can access from here.
The largest and most obvious is the standard Spin button which is in the middle of the screen and this is what you will hit to play one spin of the slot. One thing to be careful of, especially when you have just loaded the game up, is to not hit this button until you have checked how much your bet size is set at. Some sites have a default setting on games of several pounds per spin and so if you click without setting, it can prove to be a costly click.
To the left of the Spin button are two options to do with playing the game. The first is directly to the left of the Spin button and this is the FastSpin button. This allows you to play through spins at a much faster rate than a standard spin and it is simply an on/off button. When the button is illuminated orange (and the Spin button is also orange), the FastSpin option is activated. This feature is especially useful for players that want to play as many spins, but who have limited time to do so. Simply clicking the button turns the feature on or off.
The second of the spin features is on the left-hand side of this collection of symbols and this is the Autoplay button. Click on this and you will bring up a secondary screen which will allow you to set your Autoplay parameters for the session.
Here you can set the Coin Size and the number of coins bet on each line and you can also see the Total Bet size that your choices add up to. Underneath this is the number of Autoplay spins you want to play with default settings of 10, 25, 50 and 100 Autoplay spins. These can be selected from a drop-down menu.
In addition to this, you can also select Stop Settings for your Autoplay session based on either how much you have won, how much you have lost, or both. So, if for example you want to end your Autoplay session if you have won £100 more than what you started with, then you can adjust the Win Limit to this amount. Similarly, and perhaps more beneficially, you can also set the Loss Limit at an amount to ensure that you never lose more than you intended to when you play.
Once you have set your parameters for Autoplay, click on the Start Autoplay Button to begin your Autoplay spins. Alternatively, if you do not wish to use Autolay, you can use the Cancel button to take you back to the main screen of the slot.
One last thing to note is that you can use both the FastSpin and Autoplay features in conjunction with each other.
To the right-hand side of the Spin button are two features that are linked to your bet amount. The Max button will simply play the maximum bet size on the spin when selected. The button with a pile of coins on brings up a selection menu which allows you to pick from a number of popular bet spin amounts, or to use a slider to select your own. There is also a Max Bet option in this pop up screen too.
Progressive Jackpot indicators
At the top of the reels you can also see the title of the slot and also the four different progressive jackpot prize amounts. They are listed, from right to left, in jackpot size order starting with the bronze coloured Mini jackpot on the right, which is next to the silver Minor jackpot prize, followed by the gold Major jackpot prize and lastly, the blue coloured Mega jackpot prize.
One small thing to note with these jackpot amounts is that while it appears they are increasing in size every second, this is not the actual amount that the jackpot is increasing by. Every so often (every few seconds or so), the game will look up the actual progressive jackpot amount for each of the four jackpot prizes and will update the prize shown on screen.
This is why you will notice, especially on the Major and Mega jackpots, that the amounts displayed tend to 'jump' up by large amounts every few seconds. This isn't a glitch, it is simply the game checking back with the main server and updating the amount shown to the accurate amount.
Left side menu items
On the left-hand side of the Mega Vault Millionaire slot, there is a small button with what looks like three horizontal lines. This is the side menu and there are a number of interesting features accessed from this button to do with the game.
The top icon is the House icon and this is simply an option to return you back to your main casino game selection screen if you want to quit the game.
Underneath this is the Credit Cards symbol. As you would probably guess, this is the banking option which you can access if you need to add further funds to your account or if you want to make a withdrawal, as it will take you to the banking section of your chosen casino.
The cogs icon is the main settings, which when selected brings up a screen on the right which allows you to select whether you want sounds, Fast Spins or the Mini Payout tables shown in the game. These are selected by clicking on a button which turns from on to off or vice versa.
Underneath this is the main information page for the Mega Vault Millionaire slot, and this is probably the most useful to players of all the options in this section. Here you can learn about all the different aspects of the game, see how much your can win with different symbol combinations, how to trigger Free Spins and also the Jackpot Bonus Game.
One thing to note is that the figures shown for individual symbol wins of three, four or five symbols (or two in some cases) are linked directly to your bet size. So if you increase your bet size, or reduce it, then you will see a commensurate increase or reduction in the amounts you will win for each of the symbols in the game.
This is a much better approach than using coins and pay lines to show wins as players can know exactly how much they stand to win from a spin, rather than having to convert their win from coins into actual cash. You can also see the 25 different pay lines listed at the bottom of the information page should you want to know which combinations of symbols will offer a pay-out.
As you will see in the video, using this part of the game is tricky on a Mac as it is very sensitive on the optical mouse.
The final option in this section is the shield, which links to a huge amount of useful information about Responsible Gambling on the site and gives players details on how to self-exclude or similar.
That is everything that you need to know about the structure and ephemera that surrounds the Mega Vault Millionaire slot. Now you can get on with learning a bit more about the different aspects of the game.
