Microgaming unveil June 2020 line-up of new slot releases

It promises to be another busy month of quality slot and game releases at Microgaming with the company announcing their roadmap ahead for June 2020 in a press release that went public on site on Thursday 4th June.

The company has already released the first of its series of games for the month, with the 11 Champions slot by Gameburger Studios (which we reviewed and have made a video playthrough of) hitting casinos earlier this week. Originally timed to coincide with the start of the Euro 2020 Championships that will now be played next year, instead this football-themed 20 pay line, high volatility slot will likely hit casinos at a time when the Premier League instead is about to restart.

Aliya's Wishes slot

Another slot set to grace casinos this month and set for a release date of June 9th is Aliya's Wishes. Developed by Fortune Factory Studios, the slot is a take on the Aladdin story, this time replacing the male protagonist with the female Aliya. The 5x3 reel slot features 243 Ways to Win across the reels as well as Rolling Reels in play as well as a Multiplier Trail, which can be boosted to greater multiplier. You can also win up to 20 Free Spins by landing three or more of the Magic Lamp scatters across the reel and in this you can increase the Multiplier Trail up to a massive 50x the standard win.

Age of Conquest slot

A week later on the 16th June, a new slot from Neon Valley Studios will arrive in the form of Age of Conquest. This history-battle themed slot is a 5x3 reel slot which allows players to land Diamond symbols to turn reels completely Wild. You can also collect three of the Golden Throne Scatters to land a Free Spins bonus which could see you play between 2 and 50 Free Spins with a decreasing number of reels Wild for each bonus. Free Spins can be re-triggered within the bonus round too in what looks like being an intriguing game that has echoes of the popular Game of Thrones slot.

Roman Power slot

This slot will then be followed just a couple of days later by another historic-themed slot Roman Power, which features a number of multiplier bonuses and the chance to land the expanding Hero Wild feature which can increase the value of your wins significantly.

Aurora Beast Hunter slot

We are heading back in time a little for the next big release of the month with Just For The Win's adrenaline-packed Aurora Beast Hunter. Scheduled to land in casinos on the 23rd June and not only features an outstanding 90s Rock Soundtrack, which comes complete with a fantastic cartoon style introduction, but the slot is set up in an unusual fashion with 3-4-3-4-3 symbols across the reels. Land three of the Big Foot Car Scatters and you can trigger one of a number of Free Spins bonus rounds. The aim of the game is to help Aurora on her quest to hunt down fearsome beasts. This slot looks and plays very differently to most Microgaming releases and it is going to be very interesting to see what customers think of the slot.

Wild Catch slot

To round off the month in terms of big releases, we also have the Wild Catch slot from Stormcraft Studios set for release on the final day of the month, the 30th June. As you can probably guess from the title of the slot, this game is based on the outdoor pursuit of fishing and offers you a chance to collect Wilds to win a 2,000x Wild Jackpot Prize, with up to 9,000x your bet available in the base game. Wilds are stacked on the reels and you can cover the middle reels completely with Wilds. This is also an unusual slot in how it is set up with 5x5 reels. Land three of the Golden Fish symbols and you can choose between three different Free Spins bonus rounds, each with their own additional bonus features, including a Multiplier Trail with Rolling Reels, but with each bonus either low, medium or high volatility. You get fewer spins with the higher volatility option but the chance to win more cash. With some truly eye-catching effects and backdrops, Wild Catch hits casinos at the end of June.

Summary

While these games may be the headine releases from Microgaming throughout the month, they are not the only releases that the company is making during this period. Over the years, Microgaming has struck up a number of other content agreements with other companies to bring their games to Microgaming customers the world over and a further 20+ titles are also slated to be released across the month from these 'content aggregators' as they are called by Microgaming.

Some of the games set for release this month include Fortress Charge by Crazy Tooth Studio, Wild Predators by Golden Rock Studios, Bar-X Pull Tab by Realistic Games, Super Sync by Plank Gaming, Joker Reelz by Tom Horn Gaming and 9 Tigers by Wazdan. We will be bringing you reviews of these games on the MegaMoolah.com site so do keep your eyes open for these in addition to the reviews and video playthroughs for the other games listed above.

We should also see some additional games coming from another provider shortly after Microgaming announced a deal with Latin American company Neko Games, who have already released one game, Super Showball, as part of the deal with a number of other video bingo style games reportedly in the pipeline over the coming months.

While this represents another busy month of slot releases for Microgaming and its partners across the network, there is a little surprise that some of the slots showcased in London back in February have not yet been scheduled a release date, prime among them the new Wowpot Progressive Jackpot slots Sisters of Oz and Fortunium Gold.

As yet there has been no word from Microgaming on when either of these eagerly anticipated slots will be released, adding to the Wheel of Wishes slot, which was released back in February, as offering people a shot at its highest ever seeded jackpot prize, the Wowpot Progressive Jackpot, which has a starting fund of at least 2 million.
