New slots: Fortunium Gold, Juicy Joker & Tarzan Jewels of Opar coming soon

You may remember that last week we took a look at some of the top Microgaming slot releases set to hit casinos in September 2020.

Listed in that article were a number of new titles from the Isle of Man-based company, including two new Wowpot progressives slots, Book of Atem and Sisters of Oz, which have already been released, plus a brand new Mega Moolah progressive jackpot slot, Fortunium Gold, which is set for release on the 22^nd September.

That game will be the sixth new progressive jackpot slot game released in 2020 by Microgaming following on from the February release of Wheel of Wishes, Atlantean Treasures and Absolootly Mad, plus the two Wowpot games we mentioned earlier that hit casinos last week.

Now we have already written a preview article for the Fortunium Gold slot which details some of the features and specifics of the slot that we can expect to see when it hits casinos next week so I am not going to devote a huge amount of time on the game here, but I would remind you to check back next week when we review the game in full, give you our video play-through and no doubt we will also have plenty of other articles and videos about this brand new Mega Moolah slot once it is released.

However, the exciting thing for Mega Moolah fans is that it is not the only Mega Moolah game that is due for release at some point in the future.

Juicy Joker is another Mega Moolah forthcoming release

Although no exact release date has been confirmed for this release from Just For The Win, we are expecting that the fourth new Mega Moolah slot of 2020 will be released sometime in the autumn, probably late September. This new game will be called Juicy Joker but in truth, there are not a great many details we can confirm about the game at this time.

We do know that this is a confirmed Mega Moolah slot but other than that, the set-up of the slot and the bonuses and cash prizes on offer, other than the progressive prize pool, are not yet known at this time as Just For The Win seem to be keeping things very close to their chest when it comes to this new release.

We do have unconfirmed reports that the slot will be a 5 reel game with 20 pay lines and a very generous RTP of 96%, but that final figure does seem somewhat high to me, especially for a progressive jackpot game and in truth, I would expect an RTP of around 92-94% for this slot.

Just For The Win are one of the companies that don't really go a great deal when it comes to hyping up a slot up before it is released so there is nothing unusual in the approach they are taking with this game but rest assured that as soon as we have more details about this game in any form, we will bring them to you right here at MegaMoolah.com.

However, there is one non-progressive game that we have got many more details on and it could well be one of the standout slots of the year for Microgaming.

Brand new Tarzan Jewels of Opar slot coming in October 2020

Back at ICE 2020 in London, Microgaming unveiled a huge selection of games that they were slating for release throughout the year ahead and one of those games that provoked plenty of admiring glances was Fortune Factory Studios Tarzan and the Jewels of Opar.

The slot is the second time Microgaming have produced a game under the license they secured back in 2016 with the rights-holders of the Tarzan Brand, Edgar Rice Burroughs, Inc. The first game was a fantastic 3D romp that featured movie-quality cartoon graphics, many top characters from the books, TV series and Films (including of course Tarzan and his partner Jane). Playable from 0.40 per spin thanks to its 40 pay lines in play, the game proved to be a huge success and is still popularly played by customers at Microgaming casinos to this very day.

Those customers now won't have too long to wait for another game to play as the Tarzan Jewels of Opar slot is set to be released in October 2020 and the game introduces a host of new characters, as well as some familiar ones from the first game, into the expanding Tarzan universe.

Symbols on the reel include playing card symbols (which we are assuming are going to be the lower value symbols) while a number of characters including the Professor and the Priestess La. Tarzan and Jane are also on the reels and I would be willing to bet they are the higher value symbols here. There is also a Wild symbol on the reels and I am delighted to see that Fortune Factory Studios have kept the cartoon-quality styling from the first game too.

One nice new feature is the Random Wild feature which can trigger on any base game spin entirely at random and which will see Tarzan swing over the reels and in doing so he can turn up to 15 symbols on the reels Wild when he does so. Turn all 15 symbols Wild and you will trigger the 1,250x top jackpot prize in the game.

One thing to note here is that the new Tarzan Jewels of Opar sot does have a number of features and these have been seen before, namely in the 9 Masks of Fire and the 9 Pots of Gold slot games that the company released earlier in the year.

That starts with an interesting Free Spins bonus which is triggered when you land three Scatter symbols on the middle three reels. This triggers the Feature Wheel. Here you spin the wheel to reveal how many Free Spins you will get and what the multiplier will be on your Free Spins. You can land between 10 and 30 Free Spins and the multiplier could reach as high as 10x the standard win amount.

The game also features the Scatter Jackpot, which was present in the 9 Masks and 9 Pots games mentioned previously. This pays a prize when you land three or more Scatters on the reels and if you can land the full 9 Scatters, then you will win the top Scatter Jackpot prize of 5,000x your stake.
