What are the main game features of the Absolootly Mad slot?

One of the key elements of any slot game, that players don't really pay a great deal of attention to, is how the slot game is put together and the structure upon which the actual game is built. Without this structure of menus, information, links to key aspects of the site or game features, the whole slot experience would be much poorer for the players.

So in this article, one in a number of articles about the new Absolootly Mad Mega Moolah slot game, we are going to take a look 'under the bonnet' so to speak, of the slot itself and look at some of the more unusual and lesser used features, as well as those that are more commonly and frequently used by players.

Absolootly Mad front screen

Once the front page of the Absolootly Mad slot has loaded up, you are presented with the main screen. Here you have a purple back drop which contains playing cards, a stopwatch, a butterfly, echoes of the items that you will find on the reels.

The reels are centre of the screen and at the top of the reels are the title of the slot, the golden teapot (in which you collect your Wild gold coins, the device by which you can access the Jackpot Bonus Game if you are lucky enough) and lastly, on the right hand side of the top of the reels are the four progressive jackpot prizes, the Mini, Minor, Major and Mega prizes, the latter of which now stands at over £10.6 million at the time of writing.

Underneath these items are the reels and at the foot of the reels is the Multiplier Trail indicator, which is used in conjunction with the Rolling Reels feature of the slot, with every successive Rolling Reels win moving the multiplier on to the net in the sequence of four (1x, 2x, 3x and 5x).

That is essentially what is on the main screen of the Absolootly Mad slot apart from the bottom bar, which itself contains a huge amount of information and we will look at this in a separate section of the slot.

The main control bar

Located at the very bottom of the screen, the main control bar contains all of the main features you need to access everything about the slot that is not immediately visible. The main and most used aspect of the main control bar is the large Spin button, which is located directly underneath the third reel, central on the screen.

Either side of this button, which is used to play one spin of the reels, there are two other options. To the right hand side of the button is the Autoplay button. Click on this and you will bring up the Autoplay screen.

  • Autoplay screen

The Autoplay screen allows you to define your coin size, how many coins you want to bet on each pay line and the number of spins you want to play using Autoplay. The options are 10x, 25x, 50x and 100x.

Underneath this are a number of stop settings a player can set regarding their autoplay session. Firstly, then can tell the autoplay feature to stop once a win limit is reached, so if you win the stated amount or more, then the autoplay feature will automatically halt.

Simialrly, you can set a loss limit, which will stop the autoplay feature once you have lost the stated amount of money selected here.

Finally, there is a simple button you can toggle off or on which will stop the slot if the Progressive Jackpot is won and allow you to watch how the spin of the Jackpot Bonus Wheel goes in real time.

Once you have set your parameters for autoplay, you simply click the Start Autoplay button to begin your Autoplay spins, or the Cancel button to head back to the main screen.

To the left of the main spin button is the Max Bet button. This automatically sets your bet amount to the maximum on the slot. To the left of this is the Bet Selector which allows you to use the + and - buttons to change your bet size from 0.20 up to the maximum bet which is 50.00 per spin.

The amount of credits you have in your balance is shown to the left of the bet selector, while on the right hand side beyond the Autoplay button is the Win display which displays the value of any wins that you land on the reels (although this is also displayed on the reels too).

In the bottom right hand corner of the slot there are two handy options. These are the QuickSpin option, which is the lightning bolt symbol. Select this and you will play using the much faster QuickSpin option, which sees your spins resolve more quickly on each spin. The other symbol is the sound option, which allows you to turn the in game sounds off or on.

In the bottom left corner is a button with three lines on and this is the main submenu for the game and once again, we will look at this separately to the main bar as this particular button contains a number of key items for the game.

Main submenu button

Clicking on the button will see four icons appear on the screen. The top icon is the same Autoplay feature that you can access on the main screen and this is just another way to access the Autoplay Options screen that we looked at before.

Underneath this are two casino chips and these are the Betting Options and again, these are simply another way to access the different ways you can select your bets in the game.

The cog is the third icon from the top in the list and this allows you to select a number of settings for the game. You can select whether or not to see the Introductory Screen when you load the game up, plus set settings for QuickSpin mode and the types of sounds you want to hear in the game, all sounds, the Game Sounds or the Background music. These can be set on or off as you see fit.

The final icon is the "I" icon and this brings up information about the game itself in the form of the Paytable and this is very useful for players.

This page contains all the information you need to know about the Absolootly Mad slot, such as how the Ways to Win system works, what the different symbols are in the game and how much they pay out based on your current bet amount, as well as information on the different bonus features of the slot, including the Jackpot Bonus Game, the Free Spins bonus, plus how the Wild and its Gold Coin feature works in conjunction with the Jackpot Bonus Trigger. It also contains information about Rolling Reels and the Multiplier Trails.

Essentially, if there is anything you want to know about the game, then the Paytable is the place to find it.

That is the structure on which the Absolootly Mad: Mega Moolah slot has been built and although it may seem like a trivial matter, it is important that the game has this extensive support structure around it as it makes playing the game for players so much easier, allowing them to set options or find out information at the click of just a couple of buttons.
